Christian turns 30

On a beautiful spring day in Malta the crew from M2 celebrated Christian turning thirty.

The lovely chef Kat made the most delicate soft lam-shanks followed by a beautiful ‘Bomb Alaska’ cake (indbagt is) with a clear blue fire surrounding it. And because Christian loves marzipan she had altered the recipe so that there was a thick layer of the delicate almond dough in the bottom of the cake. I’m very sad I didn’t get to take a photo of it, but that just means that she will have to make it again.

And nobody couldn’t have made better entertainment than the annual Maltese fireworks festival in the capital of Valletta.
